People seek individual therapy services for a variety of reasons such as anxiety, depression, past trauma, relationship issues, and more. In individual therapy I work together with the client to address specific struggles or enhance personal growth, always keeping in mind client's own goals.
I have been trained in a variety of theoretical modalities such as CBT, DBT, Internal family systems (IFS), art therapy, and Solution Focused therapy. I believe there is no one theoretical approach that fits all. Therefore, I use an integrative approach, specifically tailored to the client's needs.
I am passionate about working with adults and teens, addressing issues such as:
• Depression
• Anxiety
• Postpartum and perinatal issues
• Women's issues
• Life transitions
• Relationship issues
• Self-growth
Working with women who are experiencing challenging emotions related to pregnancy, fertility, and during the postpartum period is an area I am particularly passionate about.
Whether you are experiencing pregnancy or postpartum anxiety, depression, or challenges adjusting to motherhood, therapy can be an important source of support. The journey through parenthood often involves challenges as well as unrealistic expectations. If you are feeling overwhelmed, irritable, or experiencing emotional distress, you are not alone in this.
Sharing with a therapist who understands can bring a great sense of relief and decrease isolation, as well as restore meaning and balance in your life. I invite you to reach out to me through email or phone.
I have always been passionate about working with couples, finding it an opportunity to improve the well-being of at least two people in the context of their relationship.
Couples come to therapy wanting to address a variety of issues such as communication problems, infidelity, lack of intimacy, financial disagreements and more. I believe that at the core of those struggles lies the need for emotional safety for both individuals in the relationship. In my work with couples I use a variety of modalities such as Solution Focused and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), keeping in mind the specific needs of the couple.
I work with couples on struggles with parenting, co-parenting, affairs, rebuilding trust, life transitions, and more.
I welcome you to contact me so that we can see if I can be a good fit for your needs.
All families deserve a place where they can feel safe to express themselves. Feeling heard, loved, cared for, and respected are basic needs for all humans. In family work, we focus on improving communication between the family members and being attuned to each member's needs. The core of the work is on enhancing emotional safety and learning how to relate better to each other while developing healthy boundaries. In my work with families I use a variety of modalities such as family systems, solution focused, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), taking into account the specific multigenerational and cultural needs of each family.
I am happy to offer a free consultation so that we can see if I am a good fit for your needs.
